• How much do you charge?

I charge £55 for an hour, £82 for 90 mins and £105 for 2 hours.

• How do I find you?

On Tuesdays and Fridays you'll find me at St Anne's House (St Anne's Road, Brislington). There is a free car park and plenty of bike racks. The number 5 bus (from Clifton Village) stops across the road. There is a Tier scooter zone nearby. On bike, if is about an 8 minute ride from both Lawrence Hill and Temple Meads stations, and a longer but pleasant walk!

When you get to St Anne's House, you will need to find the door for the Wellbeing room, to the side of the building.

On Wednesdays and Thursdays I'm at Bristol College of Massage & Bodywork (109 Pembroke Road). If you are travelling by bus, the 8 and 9 bus services runs from the city centre through Clifton with a bus stop right outside the building. The college is also a 10 minute walk away from Clifton Down train station, which is also on the Temple Meads to Avonmouth service - find out more at www.gwr.com.

• Where can I park my car?

St Anne's House - there is a free car park onsite

Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork - the roads surrounding the college are restricted to permit holders or pay & display. BCMB has a few parking permits (zone CV) which you are welcome to use if one is available. If not then you must pay at a meter which costs £1.50 per hour for a maximum stay of 5 hours. Parking is free after 5pm.

• Can I claim money back for my sessions through health insurance?

St Yes! I am a member of both the Massage Training Institute (MTI) and the Complementary Therapist's Association (CThA). Take a look at the 'Accepted accreditations and qualifications' section of your health insurance benefit information to see if either MTI or CThA are listed. (I know they are definitely part of the Health Shield 'Health and Wellbeing Benefit')

• ​Can I lock my bike up?

Both BCMB and St Anne's House have bike racks for you to lock your bike to, either at the front or rear of the building.

• How can I buy a block of massages?

You can save money by buying a block of massages. You can either buy a block of 4 for £210 (making it £52.50 per hour) or a block of 6 for £300 (making it £50 per hour). Once you have purchased a block, you can book the appointments that suit you using the 'pay in person' option on the booking page. You can also share the block with a partner or friend so you both save money!

 

Please note, all sessions in the block must be redeemed within a year of purchase. If you would like to buy a block, just send me an email and I will reply with my bank details.

• Can I have a massage if I am pregnant?

Yes, absolutely! Please book as usual and leave me a a message to let me know the stage of your pregnancy and I will be in touch shortly after.

• What should I wear?

It is best to wear comfortable clothes so that you don't feel too restricted after your massage. During the massage, you can undress to the level that you're comfortable with. You will be covered with a drape at all times, and I will uncover the areas I am working on. If you are wearing jewellery I will ask you to remove items during the massage so that they don't get caught.

• What oil do you use? 

I use unscented grapeseed oil or Biotone Advanced Therapy Gel (a mixture of grapeseed, apricot and sesame oil). These are both hypoallergenic but please let me know if you have any skin allergies so I can check ingredients.

• Do you provide sexual massage?

No, sexual massage is not a service I provide.

​

• What music do you use? 

I will normally play a playlist of classical and ambient music that I have collated over the past few years. If you would like to listen to anything else that is available on Spotify then feel free to let me know - it's always nice to get more music recommendations!

• I work for the NHS, how do I claim £5 off? 

It's not much but I offer a £5 discount to NHS workers as a small way of showing my appreciation for all that you do! You can claim £5 off by either adding the code 'NHS5' during the checkout process (there's an option to add a coupon code on the booking fom) or just mention it in the 'Add your message' box if you'd prefer to pay in person. I also offer a discount when buying a block of massages, just ask me if you're interested in hearing more.
